  The Advertising Standards Authority protects the public by ensuring that the rules in the British Codes of Advertising and Sales Promotion are followed by everyone who prepares and publishes advertisements.
  The Competition Commission is a public body established by the Competition Act 1998. It replaced the Monopolies and Mergers Commission (MMC) on 1 April 1999.
  All over the UK, factories are releasing health-threatening pollution. Factory Watch gives you the facts and helps you fight for a cleaner, healthier environment. This site from Friends of the Earth allows you to see which factories in our neighborhood which are releasing chemicals into the environment.
  There are around 219 local groups in the Friends of the Earth (FOE) network in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man (FOE Scotland is a separate organisation). FOE local groups campaign to improve the environment in their own backyard, as well as joining in with campaigns nationally and internationally.

  Office of Electricity Regulation The regulatory body for the electricity industry in Great Britian.
  Office of Gas Supply Independant Government watchdog for the gas industry.
  The Office of Fair Trading plays a key role in protecting the economic welfare of consumers, and in enforcing United Kingdom competition policy.
